Can a person's first name REALLY tell you if they're a lunatic behind the wheel?
--A study out of England looked at data from thousands of speeding tickets, and identified the first names of people most likely to speed . . . or drive safely.
--Men named Julian and Justin are most likely to speed. And for women, the most likely speeders are named Juliet, Justine, and Alexis.
--On the other end, men named Connor, Terrance, Jacob, Jordan, and Joshua are LEAST likely to speed. For women, the least-likely speeders are Paige, Molly, Shannon, Bethany, Lily, Courtney, and Caitlin.
--The study also found that men who are surgeons, sales managers, TV execs, CEOs, and lawyers are most likely to speed. Women who are in the military, or work as business consultants, veterinarians, or doctors are most likely to speed.

Life in a nutshell.
Pfizer sponsored a survey that found the average age for different milestones in people's lives. Here's what they found out:
--You have your FIRST KISS at age 15.
--You're financially independent from your parents at 22. (--Yeah, right.)
--You have the BEST SUMMER OF YOUR LIFE when you're 24.
--You start reminding yourself of your parents at age 32.
--You begin FEELING YOUR AGE at 38.
--The age when you should stop having kids is 41.
--You should RETIRE at age 64. -- (Not according to the Harper Government)
--And you should expect to LIVE until you're 84.

Usher - Scream Official Video
I dig the song, I always jam when we play it, but, I'm not at all impressed with this video. Something is missing here. Maybe he spent his video budget on the video for Climax?
What do you think?
PS: If you didn't see the video for Climax, here it is,

HRM Drunk Driving stats for May
In May, citizens and HRM Partners in Policing joined forces to continue the fight against drinking and driving.
Throughout the month, police charged 63 people - 45 men and 18 women, ranging in age from 15 to 61 - with impaired driving. Of these incidents, 34 were identified by police during their patrols, 10 were identified after a collision had occurred and 19 were called-in by concerned citizens. Officers issued an additional 16 seven-day suspensions and two 15-day suspensions to people having a blood alcohol level between 50-80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood (mg%).
Of the 63 cases, 60 involved drivers impaired by alcohol while three involved impairment by drugs. Nine of the people charged refused to provide a breath sample and were charged with the offense of refusal.
The breath samples obtained ranged from 90-310 mg%.
Driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs puts everyone in danger. In December 2009, MADD Canada and the Province of Nova Scotia launched Campaign 911 which encourages people to call police with information on suspected impaired drivers. HRM Partners in Policing continue to be encouraged by the number of citizens helping to play a role in community safety. If you have information on a drunk driver, please call 911.

Nicki Minaj Didn't go on, and GOOD FOR HER!
So a radio Station in NY put together this show, It was crazy, "everyone" who is r&b, hip hop was there. And Nicki Minaj was the Headliner. Until one of the people who work for the radio station went on the stage and said that "Nicki" was wack. Would this guy have said anything if he didn't like one of the male artists on the bill? hard to say I don't know this guy.
you know what.
GOOD FOR HER.
That's what I think.
I don't love every single song of every single artist we play, some I don't care for at all, but you'll never hear me talk about it on the air. ESPECIALLY if this person/group was headlining a show presented by The BOUNCE. I wouldn't say it because I refuse to disrespect an artist we play, I won't disrespect the other people who work incredibly hard for and with the BOUNCE, I would never put the BOUNCE in that kind of a situation, and if I ever did, I would expect to be reprimanded for it and more important to me I REFUSE to disrespect the fans of an artist. if you are on twitter (so am I @melb_bounce) you can see the drama unfold on Nicki's feed.
Why associate yourself with people who make you feel disrespected? That should a MINIMUM that get from people. If you don't, and you are able to, get away from them.
I'm not saying that radio people shouldn't express our opinions, but, at the end of the day I believe that we can express our opinions in a respectful way.
But, that's just me.
Actually....It isn't just me.
