OMFG!! I Gotta get 'em

So last night on a hunt for a movie called The Chase, we ended up at Best Buy. Im a gadget freak, love things that will do things for me.....but, Last night I found myself looking at headphones I haven't met a person in radio yet who doesn't want or have a great set of headphones. I really wanted a pair of the Dr. Dre headphones....until I found these......BOSE Noise Cancelling headphones. They have a little test area set up so you can listen to them, and see if you like the sound. So what the hell, I gave it a shot, as soon as I popped the headphones on, ALL OF THE BACKGROUND NOISE IN THE STORE DISAPPEARED!!! I was all....WTF really, took them off, put them on, took them off, Im already impressed. Then I pressed the play button, part of the little demo they had set up was they have a speaker facing you that makes the same noise you hear on an airplane....I didn't know that until I took the headphones off. FAN-FLIPPIN-TASTIC!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE them. What my pocket doesn't love is the 400 dollar price tag, although I have to say this THEY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY, DIME, QUARTER, LOONIE AND TWOONIE!
:( Im gonna need a raise....or maybe they do lay-away..... Next time you in the store, check them out, I think you'll be impressed.

Text Messages that self destruct! Tiger Text

Found this story on Yahoo.ca, thought it was interesting.....

SAN FRANCISCO (AFP) - A California start-up on Thursday went international with a TigerText iPhone application that lets people kill embarrassing text messages after they have been sent out.

X Sigma Partners founder Jeffrey Evans said that massive interest in TigerText prompted the firm to speed up the release of versions for other countries as well as for BlackBerry smartphones.

"We've been getting email from people all around the world and our website has been hit much more than we ever imagined from international users," Evans told AFP.
English-language Tigertext applications for iPhones became available through Apple's online iTunes shop Thursday in Britain, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Israel, and Canada.

"We were shocked at the number of requests for TigerText from mobile users overseas," said Evans.

While declining to reveal exact figures, Evans said that thousands of people have been signing up daily for TigerText since the service launched in the United States in February.

A test version crafted for newer model BlackBerry smartphones was released Thursday in the United States and Canada.

Tigertext.com is a text message trail-covering application. People receiving Tigertext messages are prompted to download the application for free in order to read the contents, which are not actually sent to the recipient's phone.

Instead, messages are hosted on the company's servers where they can be erased when senders wish.

Sent messages can be deleted on demand or be set to automatically vanish after a specified period. A "delete on read" feature starts a 60 second countdown when a text message is opened and then erases it at zero.

Evans said inspiration for the application came from years he spent working in job placement and seeing how extensively potential employers mine the Internet for postings, comments or other insights regarding candidates.

"If you send a private text message it should stay private," Evans said. "I thought it would be great if messages would self-destruct in 60 seconds..."

"When the message is gone from us, it's gone," he added.

TigerText messages cannot be saved, copied or forwarded by recipients.

While reading messages is free, the service costs 1.99 dollars (US) per month for limitless messaging or 19.99 dollars for annual subscriptions to the service.

6 strategies for sexier dates

6 strategies for sexier dates
Christopher DeLorenzo
Taken from MSN.ca

You've met someone you really like, and you share an intense attraction for one another. Congratulations!

Now how do you keep that chemistry alive?

You could be bold and risk your relationship by becoming too physical too fast, but since that isn't what true intimacy is all about, why not consider some other options? Try these six sultry strategies to make your date sexier:

1. Take a dip
Water is very sensuous and often associated with eroticism. Showing off your new bathing suit and some skin can be a real turn-on, so why not consider a day at the beach, the lake or even your local swimming pool? It's a fun date with plenty of activity and even some decent exposure.

2. Tempt your senses
Indian food is especially great, because of its beautifully pungent fragrances, tantalizing textures and sumptuous flavors. Thai food has similar qualities, but some people enjoy more common aphrodisiacs, like oysters and chocolate-covered cherries. Be daring and feed one another.

3. Share a steamy movie No, not that kind of movie! Instead think Kama Sutra or Eyes Wide Shut, both of which could add verve to your erotic vibe.

4. Explore erotica
Don't be taken in by some college students' faux reading. Plenty of gay and lesbian bookstores and literary groups sponsor erotica readings in most large cities. These groups inevitably draw some great talent, and hearing the work read aloud is, ahem... inspiring, to say the least. It's a fun way to get a little hot under the collar without ever removing your shirt.

5. Dance
I'm not encouraging a bump and grind on the dance floor that might have you renting a room, but dancing with someone to music you both enjoy is both sensual and romantic.

6. Create an amorous abode
There's nothing more romantic than having your partner over for a candlelit meal and some make-out music. Who says you have to go out to have a sexy date? Remember what Dorothy said in the Wizard of Oz? "Sometimes you don't have to look any further than you own backyard."
