GOOD GIRLS GO BAD!!!!
Every girl I know, knows a guy who believes he can make every "good girl" a "Bad Girl" with his powers of ..... mojo?? I dunno, but I can't get ENOUGH of this song. Cobra Starship - Good Girls Go Bad. This song features Leighton Meester yes the latest star to have a "sex tape scandal" ummmmm After all, in Hollywood right now, you're a nobody until you have a sex tape. A trend that was started sort of by Pam Anderson and Tommy Lee. Canada Aren't we proud. Now girls, honestly, I can't say it enough, if you're gonna do this sort of thing, or let people take pictures of you in compromising position...be ready for them to get out. It almost always happens. Its like keeping a diary, if you don't want people to know, don't write it down.

10 reasons why you should be watching “True Blood”
10 reasons why you should be watching “True Blood”
By Jess d'Arbonne

Season two of the HBO original series “True Blood” started last week, and you should really be watching it. Not just for the romance between vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) and psychic waitress Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), and not just because it’s about vampires. Make no mistake: “True Blood” is not your little sister’s “Twilight.” It’s got action, intrigue, plenty of steamy scenes, Southern charm, creatures of the night, Anna Paquin, a guy that turns into a dog, and enough blood splatter to make a Jackson Pollock painting jealous.
You should be watching it, and here’s why:
1. The supernatural. Vampires have come out of the coffin. They walk among us (at night). They drink synthetic blood at our bars. They’re dating the girl next door. And they’re not alone: voodoo witchdoctors, psychic waitresses, and people who turn into animals are all regular cast members.
2. Bon Temps, Louisiana. When’s the last time you heard of a vampire story set in the deep South? New York City or Sunnydale, California, maybe. Transylvania, definitely. But Bon Temps, Louisiana? Shoot son, that’s what I call original! In a small town where everyone knows everyone, when strange things start happening around Merlotte’s Bar, rumors spread quicker than wildfire. Plus, the setting makes for plenty of Southern humor and Cajun accents.
3. The opening credits. Jace Everett’s country single “Bad Things” will have you singing along and getting down with your bad self every week.
4. Love Triangle meets unrequited love meets star-crossed lovers. A decent tragic romance is a hard thing to find. So when you get a triumvirate of tragic love archetypes all on the same show, you can’t take your eyes away. In summary: Bill and Sam both like Sookie, who is interested in both Bill and Sam, but then she chooses Bill, leaving Sam loveless and alone, and unfortunately Bill is a vampire and Sookie is a human so theirs is the ULTIMATE FORBIDDEN LOVE, mostly because he wants to EAT HER and she is BLONDE AND PLUCKY. Yeah. “It’s Complicated” on Facebook.
5. Beefcake. There are a lot of attractive men on this show, and a lot of shirtless scenes (it’s hot in Louisiana, ok?).
6. Cheesecake. Poor Anna Paquin. What a homely girl. And that Rutina Wesley… too bad about her face. All kidding aside, both leading ladies are strikingly beautiful. Paquin’s pouty lips and Wesley’s gorgeous gams could keep anyone (girls included) tuning in week after week.
7. Tara Thornton. From the moment she said, “This ain’t rude, this is uppity,” I knew it was love. Possibly the most honest (some would say foul-mouthed), confident (some would say cantankerous) young woman to ever grace the airwaves, Tara (Rutina Wesley) is Sookie’s best friend and confidant.
8. Jason Stackhouse’s clueless face. To look that devoid of intelligence, that often, to that degree of comedic effect, is pure acting genius.
9. Lafayette. Much of the show’s strength lies in its supporting cast, and Lafayette — a cross-dressing, drug-dealing, no-nonsense short order cook at Merlotte’s Bar — is no exception. If you see nothing else of “True Blood,” watch Lafayette’s AIDS burger monologue from the first season. You’ll think twice about stiffing your waitress.
10. Vampire Bill’s string quartet. Always just off-screen, but working hard during both steamy scenes and the scary bits, Bill’s string quartet is one of the best parts of the show. I’ve never seen these musicians, but I know they exist because of the haunting cello line that pops up whenever our leading vamp-man is on screen.
If this doesn’t convince you, try it for yourself. The next episode of “True Blood” airs this Sunday night on HBO, right after the sun goes down, 9 p.m.

R.I.P Michael Jackson.
From Wikipedia, incase you don't know....
Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009)[2] was an American recording artist, entertainer, and businessman. The seventh child of the Jackson family, he debuted on the professional music scene at the age of 11 as a member of The Jackson 5 and began a solo career in 1971 while still a member of the group. Referred to as the "King of Pop" in subsequent years, five of his solo studio albums are among the world's best-selling records: Off the Wall (1979), Thriller (1982), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991) and HIStory (1995).
In the early 1980s, he became a dominant figure in popular music and the first African-American entertainer to amass a strong crossover following on MTV. The popularity of his music videos airing on MTV, such as "Beat It", "Billie Jean" and Thriller—credited for transforming the music video into an art form and a promotional tool—helped bring the relatively new channel to fame. Videos such as "Black or White" and "Scream" made Jackson an enduring staple on MTV in the 1990s. With stage performances and music videos, Jackson popularized a number of physically complicated dance techniques, such as the robot and the moonwalk. His distinctive musical sound and vocal style influenced many hip hop, pop and contemporary R&B artists.
One of the few artists to have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, his other achievements include multiple Guinness World Records—including one for "Most Successful Entertainer of All Time"—13 Grammy Awards, 13 number one singles in his solo career—more than any other male artist in the Hot 100 era—and the sales of over 750 million albums worldwide. Cited as one of the world's most famous men, Jackson's highly publicized personal life, coupled with his successful career, made him a part of popular culture for almost four decades.
On June 25, 2009, he collapsed at his home in Los Angeles. After being taken to the hospital in a coma, Jackson was pronounced dead.
I realize this is a lengthy post, but I can't leave it without posing two of my fav MJ videos....

I want to be like Mac
Great shot here, something very raw about it. And it proves that Photoshop isn't always that evil program that makes girls feel bad because they can't achieve that fashion magazine perfection. Photoshop can be a way to further you intention with a shot. However there is something said for that photo that doesn't need any post production at all. I heart those photos.

Congrats class of '09!
Listening to them talk about the hesitations, the excitement and the uncertanty of moving on after high school, made me want to assure them, Prom is great, and the friends you have made in highschool, will more than likely change as you move forward, through no ones fault, you learn that. You learn so much after high school. Always try to look back and remember the good times, the good people, and remember....thats what facebook is for!

I swear Im going to start hitting the gym!
June 2009: Bikini Boot Camp
By Flannery Dean
Summer is on its way—are you ready for a bathing suit? Get into swimsuit shape with a bikini bod-inspired bootcamp workout.
Visit our Bikini Boot Camp challenge at www.bootcamp.fitbits.ca and follow three Canadian women as the shed fat for summer!
Whether it’s a one-piece or two-piece, the swimsuit looms large in the imagination of many women. After six months of winter layers (and comfort foods), stripping down and hitting the beach isn’t easy.
“I think the bikini represents confidence—the fact that you can put that on and go out in public and say ‘hey, here I am’,” says Lindsay Nealon, owner and founder of Bikini Bootcamp, an eight-week group fitness course that operates in provinces throughout Canada. (Find one in your area at www.bikinibootcamp.ca)
Inspired by her time in California, Nealon started Bikini Bootcamp in 2004. The response was immediately enthusiastic. “I started with a group of eight in the spring of 2004 and by the spring of 2005 we had 30 groups of 12—we blew up!” she shares.
For Nealon the key to getting bathing suit-ready is simple: make your workout fun and challenging. “I love working with women and a major goal of mine is to create balance,” explains Nealon, who is also the mother of two small children. “Our bootcamp is different. We’re not the 6 times a week, 5am, ‘Drop and give me 20’ military style company.”
Instead, groups meet twice weekly. In addition to these group sessions, participants are given an individualized plan for two workouts to be done on their own during the week, bringing the workout count up to a manageable four times a week.
But that gentle approach doesn’t mean that each 75-minute workout isn’t intense. Each session may begin with a playful warm-up—a game of Duck, Duck, Goose or a quick soccer drill—but it soon kicks into an intense cardio/strength training workout.
Sessions have a particular body focus each time, but you can expect to work the whole body with classic military-inspired exercises like jumping jacks, pushups, lunges and squats as well as large muscle-firing sequences/poses taken from Pilates and yoga.
It’s that commitment to going over and above the usual workout pace that gets the best results. “There has to be at least one part of the workout where you say ‘Holy crap, I could not do this on my own,’” laughs Nealon.
Fitness trainer Tara King of FlirtyGirl Fitness (www.flirtygirlfitness.com) in Toronto also believes in challenging the body to get maximum results. Consequently, her “Bikini Bootcamp” fitness class—it is drop-in, so no pre-registration is required—largely consists of 60 minutes of intense circuit training.
“I like to do a lot of drills,” King explains. “The whole class is in the form of circuits, so it goes from cardio to weight training and then back to cardio again, just so the body never gets used to doing one thing. That way, you’re going to get maximum calorie burn.”
For those who want to get into bikini shape quickly, King says at least 30 minutes of intense cardio is essential.
“And not just cardio that’s kind of easy,” she says. “You need to get up to your maximum heart rate where you are actually burning calories.”
One way to do that is interval training.
“Skip at a slow pace for about 30 seconds and then bump it up and skip as fast as you can for about 15 seconds then back down for 15 seconds—just back and forth like that so the body doesn’t get used to one thing.”
Another killer sequence to throw in the mix: The Pyramid.
“You do 10 squats, then you drop down and do 10 pushups, then you do 9 squats and 9 pushups, etc—it’s a little bit of death training but it’s really great for sculpting. It’s also a bit of cardio because you’re going from a vertical position to a horizontal position.”
Both King and Nealon stress the importance of nutrition in achieving your goals, however. For King, a fatty diet can undo all your hard work at the gym.
“Nutrition is huge. If you’re not eating right you can do as many Burpees as you want, but you won’t see results. Staying away from refined sugars and really fatty foods, sticking to lean meats, vegetables—you need to eat like that just to have the energy to workout even.”
That post-workout cocktail isn’t doing you any favours either, says the trainer.
“Beer and cocktails—they’re going to stick around your midsection. I’ve told the girls, if you keep drinking you can do a 1,000 crunches but you’ll never get rid of that fat around your belly.”

Lots O' Stuff
Well it's already the first week in June and your want to be ready in about 6 or 7 weeks, whew!!! Not much time, lets get started. First start by getting up earlier than usual. Around 5:30 am to do some of you workouts. Getting up early shocks your metabolism because the body needs more energy to get going. Right? This will start your system on the road to weight loss. That early start with about 10 minutes of stretching. Have a cup of coffee to get the blood going also. Do all the situps you can. Just do them. 15 or 20 whatever, we don't have alot of time to work with. Rest 1 minute repeat, do this for 6 sets. Already you are breathing hard and feel worn, because the body is working extra hard at being up earlier and then going right into exercise. If the early morning hours lets you get your cardio in, go ahead and do it. 30 minutes. Diet. Cut all current meal portions in half, just cut them in half, nothing fancy or complicated, CUT IN HALF! Cut out all bread products, all gravies, candies, chips, night snacks, etc. If you crave at night eat a banana, other fruit or best a non-fat yogurt. There are some tasty ones out there. In the evening do another 6 sets of situps maxing out each set. Cardo again. The trick is to stay with getting up earlier. Yes its hard, thats why it is so effective. Why do you think the Army gets up so early, it is intense training to the max. Do this until you wedding, you will be ready, or you can wimp out and the wedding date will be there before you know it and you have wasted all those days. I believe you will make it, best of luck to you, stay tough!!! Get mean!!!
So that some food for thought. Getting that killer bod takes work! Fo' Sho!
Also, Im getting ready to volunteer at the SPCA! Im excited. If I could I would adopt all the dogs who find themselves at the SPCA, but that would work, I would be called a "hoarder" and the dogs would be taken away. So instead Im going to volunteer and walk them, and generally hang out with them. Also the SPCA Dog Walk is in a few weeks, Im going to take Lucy, and and meet other buddies who spent some time with the SPCA.

Soooo Tired all the time!
The anti-fatigue diet
By Flannery Dean (www.ellecanada.com)
Tired? We've got the cure - and you'll find it right in your lunch bag.
The diagnosis
Whether you have insomnia or you just rented the addictive fifth season of The Wire, you're flat out exhausted. A steady stream of non-fat lattes and mini Kit Kats can offer a temporary buzz but only put off the inevitable crash. "A lack of sleep causes stress on the body and lowers the immune system, making it prone to infection," says Dr. Elena Krasnov, a naturopathic doctor and co-founder of the Toronto Naturopathic Clinic.
The prescription
Balance what you take in with what you expend. "When you overeat, you feel sluggish because your body's energy is used up trying to digest too much food," explains Krasnov, who recommends eating three healthy, balanced meals and two snacks a day.
Krasnov says an energy-boosting diet should consist of 60 to 75 percent fruits and veggies - especially those packed with vitamin B (such as avocados, corn, green beans and peas), which helps keep the nervous system running smoothly. Foods that are rich in vitamin C - like tomatoes, cherries, oranges and strawberries - provide energy and help protect cells because they support our adrenal glands, which encourage boosts of energy. Complex carbs (such as buckwheat, quinoa, beans, legumes, oats and barley) and lean protein (such as skinless chicken) make up the balance.
Feeling lethargic may mean that you're not getting enough complex carbs. "Carbs are the body's preferred energy source," explains Krasnov, who recommends skipping the bacon-and-home-fries breakfast. "Don't mix carbs and protein in the morning," she says. "The combo is hard to digest and will make you feel tired." Instead, have a single serving of complex carbs (such as half a bowl of oatmeal). At lunch, keep your blood sugar levels up with a blend of protein (six ounces of tuna) and veggies (like kale or red peppers). For dinner, opt for brown rice, dark-green veggies and salmon, which is rich in omega-3 fatty acids and helps lower blood pressure.
If you want to be as peppy as Rachel Bilson, stock up on ginseng. "Ginseng helps your body adapt to stress," explains Krasnov. Look for ginseng in capsule or liquid form at your health-food store, or buy the root at a Chinese grocery store.
What to avoid
Processed convenience foods. "A lack of proper nutrients leads to metabolic imbalances," explains Krasnov, "and the excess toxins in processed foods lead to degenerative changes - which can lead to an increased risk of cancer and heart disease."
Extra credit
Invest in a juicer. "Because juice is broken down into a highly absorbable form, the body can use the nutrients easily," says Cherie Calbom, author of Juicing, Fasting and Detoxing for Life. "Many people say that they feel energized half an hour after drinking juice. Fresh juice is loaded with vitamins, minerals and enzymes, which are essential for the chemical reactions that produce energy."
